1 Dead In Multi-vehicle Crash In Wilmington, Del.
MINQUADALE, Del. (CBS) -- Police say one person has died following a multi-vehicle crash in Wilmington, Delaware.
Authorities say the accident happened around 7:43 a.m. Friday on S. Market Street in the area of S. Walmut Street in Wilmington.
An unoccupied school bus, a DART bus with several passengers and a passenger vehicle were all involved in the crash.
Officials say an occupant of the passenger vehicle has died. It is unknown if anyone else was injured.
Police say both the northbound and southbound lanes of S. Market Street are closed and traffic is being diverted around the scene.
Commuters are urged to avoid the area.
The fatal accident is under investigation.
