1 Dead, Another Injured In Tioga Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police are investigating a double shooting that left a man dead and another woman injured in the city's Tioga neighborhood early Saturday morning, according to authorities.
At about 4:30 a.m., police were called out to the 2100 block of Bellevue Streets for reports of a double shooting. When officers arrived, they learned the victims had already been taken to Temple University Hospital by private vehicles.
The 23-year-old unidentified male victim was pronounced dead at the hospital after receiving two gunshot wounds to the chest, one in the right leg and one in his thigh, police said.
The 20-year-old female victim was shot once in the right thigh. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Police have not released any details on a suspect or possible motive.
