1 Dead, 2 Injured In One Vehicle Crash In Delaware
DELMAR, Del. (AP) — A Delaware woman is dead and two other people are injured after a car crash in Sussex County.
State police say it happened Saturday evening on Pepperbox Road in Delmar, when a car swerved off the road, struck a driveway culvert and then flipped over several times before coming to a rest in the intersection.
A 27-year-old front-seat passenger, identified as Mindy L. Hicks, of Delmar, was partially ejected and died at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet Cobalt was taken to a hospital in critical condition, and another passenger was admitted in serious condition.
