It seems like almost everyone has tried online dating by now -- and that includes celebrities.

Ricki Lake

Ricki Lake wasn't just on one dating website.

"You have that incorrect -- I went on probably three dating websites," she told a reporter for Hollyscoop.

The former talk show host said that she liked the anonymity of online dating -- she thinks the daters mostly didn't realize who she was, though her friends disagreed.

"It was an interesting experiment for a couple of years and I'm glad it's behind me," she said. "I wouldn't say ultimately they were great happy endings because they weren't the right match for me ... they were funny, they were embarrassing."

The interview was from 2012, when she got married to Christian Evans. She divorced in 2014, so who knows? Maybe she's back online.

Hilary Duff

This smells a lot like a planned publicity stunt, but Hilary Duff said in early 2015 that she was on Tinder.

The "Younger" actress told 104.3's Valentine in the Morning radio show in Los Angeles that she and her friends were joking around and signed up.

"In my life, I've always had really serious boyfriends, I've always met people through work and I've never been on a blind date. What's the worst that's going to happen?" Duff said.

Duff later used clips from that interview for a music video for her song called "Sparks," which also showed her using the app.

Britney Spears

Britney Spears let Jimmy Fallon sign her up for Tinder in 2014.

Her one-line bio was "This better work, b****."

She told Fallon on the show "I'm thrilled," though she admittedly made a face.

She and Fallon then went through a list of the pros and cons of dating Britney Spears.

Fallon assured audience members, "This is real," but no word on if she kept the account open.

Martha Stewart

Domestic goddess Martha Stewart documented her Match.com dates on the "Today Show" and went on two dates with men she had met through the dating site.

Stewart had a good enough time on both dates that she said she'd be willing to go on second dates with either man.

She doesn't seem to have met her soul mate yet, but she told In Touch magazine in February of 2014 that she tries to keep an open mind when it comes to meeting someone for the first time.

"There are no 'no-no's,'" she said.

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan 'fessed up to using Tinder in an awkward Instagram post after she found her brother on the dating app in 2013.

"look who I just found on@tinderapp ... hey bro," she wrote.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry said in 2014 that she was very single on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.

She went on to add that she was trying to change that: "I'm really deep on Tinder so I don't have a whole lot of time," said the singer.

Perry is now rumored to be dating Diplo.

Deborah Ann Woll

How's this for an endorsement for online dating?

Not only did "True Blood" actress Deborah Ann Woll use online dating services, she even met her longtime partner E.J. Scott on Match.com.

Woll told Elle that people were "a little lewd in their comments" sometimes online, but one ended up being "the love of [her] life."

Woll met her comedian boyfriend in 2011, and the two seem as in love as ever -- Woll frequently retweets Scott and uses her Twitter bio to urge her followers to follow Scott as well. Scott suffers from a rare genetic disease that is making him lose his eyesight, which he mentioned on his Match.com profile.

Woll told Glamour of Scott's profile: "His honesty was part of why I was interested in him. I definitely googled the disease, and I checked out the links about it in his profile, but it didn't scare me."

Carrie Ann Inaba

It didn't work out in the end, but Carrie Ann Inaba met her ex-fiance Jesse Sloan on eHarmony.

In 2011, Inaba got engaged to Sloan on "Regis and Kelly." She told Us Weekly that she had not used a photo for her eHarmony profile and had the lines, "You need to be sexy" and "I love cats."

As of May 2014, the "Dancing with the Stars" judge told Queen Latifah that she had a new boyfriend, whom she met at her friend's surprise birthday party.

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey wants to find someone who will always be her baby.

Like Hilary Duff, Carey featured herself using an online dating service in her music video for "Infinity," except Carey used Match instead of Tinder.

You can see her Match profile here, where the singer writes that she enjoys swimming and yoga, as well as cooking. What's Carey looking for in a man? She wants someone who doesn't smoke and is at least 6 feet tall -- but she maxes out at 8-foot-11.

We don't think she really uses the profile (publicity stunt?). After all, she's currently dating Australian billionaire James Packer.

Eric Stonestreet

"Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet said he's dabbled on Tinder before, and that though he initially joined as a joke, he ended up enjoying it and meeting some women off the app.

He told Access Hollywood last year, "I was like, 'This is kind of addictive!' And I've met a few nice girls."

He added: "I've had a range of experience on Tinder, meaning not great, really fun, super fun, and then meet really nice people who are potential girlfriends."

But rumor has it that the actor is now dating reality star Bethenny Frankel.

Jenny McCarthy

Jenny McCarthy is now married to Donnie Wahlberg, but the blonde bombshell was once on Match.com.

In 2011, she told "The Rosie Show" that she was using a profile photo of her sister on the site to avoid people who just wanted a date with a celebrity.

McCarthy was a good sport on "The Rosie Show," though, and went on a date with a bachelor for her appearance.

Patti Stanger

Even matchmakers get lonely sometimes.

Patti Stanger, star of "Millionaire Matchmaker," used the website Plenty of Fish to meet men. Stanger met ex-boyfriend David Krause on the dating site, and the two stayed together for nearly three years before calling it quits in June.

Whether she's single or taken, the reality star loves to give dating advice, and viewers love hearing Stanger's real talk -- she even has tips on online dating.

Adele

Adele wrote in her memoir, "Adele: The Biography," that she had unsuccessfully tried online dating.

The singer joined eHarmony, but she didn't use a picture, which she points to as her demise.

"I signed up for eHarmony," she said in her 2012 book. "I can't put a photo of myself, so I don't get any e-mails!"

Adele has since found love with Simon Konecki.

Kelly Osbourne

Screenshots of Kelly Osbourne on a dating app surfaced on the Internet recently, and supposedly, she's not the only celebrity on the super secret, super exclusive app Raya.

The company does not answer press inquiries, but one user told the Cut that Raven-Symone and "Catfish" star Nev Schulman were spotted on the app.

Ben Folds

Ben Folds has never publicly spoken about being on Tinder, but a source confirmed to CBS News that Folds was on the app in August 2014.

Ever wanted to be on "The Bachelorette"?

Now you can pretend to be on the show if you match with former contestant JJ O'Brien.

O'Brien, a self-professed "pantsapreneur" who has a clothing line selling unusual pants, failed to steal Andi Dorfman's heart last year, but perhaps he'll have better luck with users on dating app The League. A representative confirmed to us that O'Brien is on the app.
