Young Army Private Dies After Snowboarding Crash At Buttermilk Mountain
ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A U.S. Army private has died after an accident while snowboarding at Buttermilk Mountain in February.
According to authorities, Andrew Garcia, 20, of Fort Sill, Oklahoma died on Feb. 23 after suffering multiple skull fractures and other various serious injuries while on the slopes on Feb. 19.
Garcia reportedly hit a tree and wasn't wearing a helmet.
Ten people have died at Colorado ski resorts this season, including four at Breckenridge.
