Woman Sentenced In Hit & Run Case
DENVER (CBS4)- A woman involved in a hit and run crash that occurred earlier this year has pleaded guilty and been sentenced.
Taylor Mathis pleaded guilty to two counts of leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.
She was given a two year deferred judgement and sentenced to two years of probation. Mathis, 22, must complete 200 hours of community service and cover all associated court fees and pay restitution.
Mathis was driving westbound on East Colfax Avenue on Jan. 23 at about 10:30 p.m. when her vehicle drifted into the center painted median area, striking two pedestrians.
