Woman Linked To Travis Forbes Case Arrested

DENVER (AP/CBS4) -- Police have arrested a woman accused of lying during an investigation into a man who pleaded guilty to killing a Denver teen and attacking a Fort Collins woman.

Police and court records show 23-year-old Kerry Humphrey was arrested Oct. 5 on suspicion of attempting to influence a public official and was released on a personal recognizance bond.

Prosecutors say Humphrey is accused of lying during the investigation of Travis Forbes. He is serving a life sentence for first-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Kenia Monge, who disappeared after leaving a night club. He also pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree murder of a Fort Collins woman.
