Wildfire Burning Near Trinidad Too Dangerous For Firefighters
TRINIDAD, Colo. (CBS4)- A wildfire burning near Trinidad has been deemed to dangerous for firefighters.
The Pipeline Fire has burned at least 30 acres.
The fire has forced the closure of Lake Trinidad.
The terrain is so rugged and the fire so erratic only air tankers are being used to fight the fire.
The fire was started by lightning. More thunderstorms are forecast for that area on Wednesday.
No evacuations have been ordered and no structures are threatened.
