Wheat Ridge Shooting Suspect Arrested After Week On The Run

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)- The man wanted in connection with a shooting in Wheat Ridge has been arrested after a week on the run.

Gregory Kilcollins was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with a shooting on Dec. 10.

The shooting happened at the Victoria apartment complex near the intersection of 38th and North Quail Court. When officers arrived on scene they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. He is expected to fully recover from the shooting.

U.S. Marshals arrested Kilcollins, 29, for attempted second-degree murder in the 1800 block of South Alcott in Denver. He is being held at the Jefferson County Detention Center.

Investigators confirm that Kilcollins and the victim know each other.
