Water Levels Fall At Prewitt Reservoir
BRUSH, Colo. (AP) — Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials say falling water levels at Prewitt Reservoir have made the boat ramp there unusable for the rest of the boating season.
The 2,431-acre reservoir is in Logan and Washington counties in eastern Colorado.
It has a maximum depth of 25 feet, but it gets drawn down to supplement the South Platte River, which can have its flows depleted by irrigation.
