Trial For Man Accused In Larimer County Attacks Goes To Jury
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - A jury in Fort Collins has gone home Monday evening after deliberating the fate of a Loveland man accused of kidnapping and assaulting two women hiking in Larimer County.
Deliberations started Monday afternoon in the trial of James Bondsteel, 40. He's facing 23 counts, including robbery, sexual assault, menacing and kidnapping.
Prosecutors say Bondsteel tried to sexually assault two female hikers in a remote area of Larimer County in September 2009. The women escaped.
The women say they want to tell reporters their story after the jury reaches a verdict.
