Tow Truck Operator Dies After Being Pinned By Semi
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - Commerce City police say a tow truck operator was killed after being pinned underneath a semitrailer he had towed.
Police say the operator for Joe's Towing and Recovery Service was unloading the semitrailer from his wrecker Friday when it rolled off of support blocks onto him. Police say it appears he was working underneath the semitrailer while controlling the wrecker operation via remote control.
His name wasn't immediately released.
