Tire Shop Death Investigated
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Commerce City are investigating the death of a tire shop employee, who was killed when he was struck by a car being driven by another employee. That co-worker is a 15-year-old.
The 27-year-old employee of 3 Amigos Tires was killed at about 5 p.m. Thursday. Police say he died after a teen co-worker struck him while driving a car up a tire rack ramp.
The incident happened at the tire shop, 6100 E. 64th Ave. Police believe it was an accident and have not filed charges.
Police told CBS4 News that it is not illegal for a minor to drive a vehicle on private property without a driver's license.
