CBS Colorado is proud to be the official TV sponsor of Aurora Fest, a multicultural experience unlike any other in Colorado. This year, it will be held on Saturday, June 13th from 3-10pm at the Aurora Municipal Center Great Lawn (15151 E Alameda Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80012). Admission is FREE!
The event brings the sights, sounds and flavors of nations from around the world, and celebrates the diverse people and communities that call Aurora home. Aurora is one of the most diverse cities in Colorado. About 1 in 5 people in Aurora are foreign-born and more than 160 languages are spoken in Aurora schools. Aurora Fest is an international event allowing the entire city to proudly embrace its global spirit.
This free, family-friendly event includes two stages of vibrant musical and dance performances, a variety of local food trucks, an international marketplace, the Parade of Nations, an international Fashion Show, art displays, creative activities for children, and much more. This year's festivities will also include bounce structures and inflatable soccer skills challenges for kids, roughly 20 food trucks and booths combining to bring cuisines from around the world, more than 60 vendors, including toy makers and clothing artisans, and martial arts demonstrations.
