Teenager Arrested Following Stolen SUV Crash
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy who they think was the driver who crashed a stolen SUV and took off, leaving a critically injured 12-year-old behind.
Investigators say the boy was one of six in a Ford Explorer that clipped a semi and rolled on Interstate 25 last weekend. The crash happened on Sunday afternoon in the southbound lanes of I-25 near the Thornton Parkway.
The boy wasn't hurt.
Two underage boys were taken to the hospital, including a 12-year-old who remains there.
