SWAT Team Responds To Protesters Once Again Handing Out 'Jury Nullification' Fliers
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police have once again raided protesters camped in front of the Lindsay-Flanigan Courthouse.
The Denver Police SWAT Team accompanied by numerous patrol cars took the action late Friday afternoon. Members of Occupy Denver and others have been handing out flyers urging jurors to vote their conscience in what's called "jury nullification." It's resulted in arrests and court fights in the past months.
Police told the protesters to remove what they called "encumbrances" meeting objects that obstruct the plaza.
The protesters dispersed but promised they would be back soon.
