Suspect's Car Found, Suspect In Shooting Still On The Run

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)- The man wanted in connection with a shooting in Wheat Ridge is still on the run but his vehicle has been recovered by detectives.

Gregory Kilcollins in wanted in connection with Wednesday's shooting.

Kilcollins, 29, is described as a white male, 6-foot, 175 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair that may have been shaved. He was last seen wearing a white hat, white long sleeved shirt and blue jeans.

The shooting happened early Wednesday morning at the Victoria apartment complex near the intersection of 38th and North Quail Court.

The man was taken to the hospital and so far it's not clear what the extent of his injuries are.

Police believe Kilcollins and the victim knew each other and that the public is not in danger.

Detectives found the grey Hyundai Elantra, with a white Playboy bunny sticker in the window, believed to be driven by Kilcollins.
