Suspects At Large After Shooting In Lakewood
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Lakewood say there are possibly 2 suspects in a crime in which a woman was shot and a man was hurt Friday morning.
The incident happened at about 9:50 a.m. at an apartment in the 7700 block of W. 12th Avenue, near the intersection of 12th and Zephyr streets.
Both victims were hospitalized with what officers said were non-life threatening injuries. It's not clear how the man was injured or what type of weapon was used.
A spokesman for Lakewood police said witnesses described a man leaving the area after the shooting. He walked from the apartment building and got into a pickup with another man. The two men are described as a white male and a Hispanic male driving off in a red or possibly black pickup.
