Suspect Arrested In Stabbing After Standoff

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A suspect is in custody following a standoff with Colorado Springs police who were investigating a fatal stabbing.

Police say the stabbing occurred early Saturday, when they were called to investigate a complaint about a disturbance. A short time later, a stabbing victim was taken to a hospital where he died.

Police located a suspect in a residence and the suspect refused to come out. The suspect later surrendered and was arrested.

The names of the suspect and victim are not being released.
