Suspect Arrested In Child Death Case
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Lakewood have arrested a suspect after a child died.
Shortly after 7 a.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the area of 310 S. Ames St. on a report of a child not breathing.
A 4-year-old child was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death is being investigated.
Police arrested Ever Alexander Lopez-Calidonio on investigation of child abuse resulting in death. Police said he lived in the same home as the child.
Lopez-Calidonio, 24, remains in custody at the Jefferson County Jail.
