State Patrol Cites 4 Month Backlog On Accidents
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The Colorado State Patrol says it has a four-month backlog investigating serious accidents in a central part of the state.
Spokeswoman Heather Cobler tells the Boulder Daily Camera there are 23 accident investigations still pending in which someone was killed or seriously injured.
Cobler says some of the cases date back to June because the department sets priorities based on complexity and the seriousness of the charges.
The district includes Boulder, Broomfield, Jefferson, Summit and Clear Creek counties.
