South Metro Wildland Team Headed To California To Fight Fires
(CBS4) - A team of firefighters from South Metro Fire Rescue is heading to the west coast for two weeks to help fight wildfires burning in California.
"This South Metro Wildland Team is heading to Northern California today on a 14 day assignment," the department tweeted Monday.
Brush Engine 41's crew deployed from Parker Monday afternoon and will receive a fire assignment from there.
