Skier Survives Getting Lost In Frigid Temperatures
GUNNISON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A skier is safe after becoming lost and spending the night in the cold near Marble in Gunnison County.
Greg Berry went for what was meant to be a short trip late Saturday morning. He was able to find his way to a nearby highways Sunday morning, where he hitchhiked his way out.
The Aspen Daily News reports Berry told rescuers he kept moving to stay warm until about 1 a.m.
Then he took shelter under a space blanket he brought with him.
