Sketch Released In Cheesman Park Sex Assault Case

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver have released a sketch of the man wanted in a sexual assault on a jogger than happened at Cheesman park on Tuesday.

It happened in the evening about 5:30 off Humboldt Street on the west side of the park, just south of the playground.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect as described by the victim.

The man is described as either a dark-skinned Hispanic or black man between 18 and 25 years old. The man is described as being well groomed with dark curly hair that was about one inch in length. He was about 5'8" tall and 155 pounds with a thin build. The man was wearing a dark gray or black windbreaker and dark pants with three stripes down the side.

He was last seen running south in the 1000 block of N. Humboldt St.

Since then authorities have been posting crime alerts about it all over the park. The crime alerts provide details about the case and state that there's a $2,000 reward for anyone whose tip leads to an arrest.
