Security Guard Faces Charges After Accidental Shooting

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A security guard who police say accidentally shot his co-worker over the weekend faces second degree assault charges.

Aurora police said Adam Lindsay, 22, was showing the 22-year-old man his gun at about 5 p.m. on Saturday who when the incident happened. The gun fired and the bullet grazed the victim's face.

Police said the two were sitting in a private vehicle providing security for the Fairways at Lowry apartment complex at the time.

The victim was quickly taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries.
