Sarah Palin To Speak At Colorado Christian University
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Sarah Palin is set to visit Colorado this spring.
Palin is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at a military and veterans appreciation rally and charity benefit in May.
The Colorado Christian University in Lakewood is hosting the "Tribute to the Troops with Sarah Palin". Attendance is open to the public as well as university faculty and students.
Tickets are $25 and all proceeds will be donated to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors. The group provides tragedy assistance to friends and families of fallen soldiers.
The Sharon K. Pacheco Foundation announced in early February that Palin was scheduled to speak at a similar fundraiser in Glendale, also on May 2nd. It cited personal attacks against Palin and "an onslaught of negative rhetoric."
