RTD Expected To Put Brakes On Some R Line Services
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- RTD is expected to scale back service on the R Line that opened six months ago. A final decision is expected at a meeting on Tuesday evening.
The R Line runs along Interstate 225 from the Peoria Station in Aurora to the Lincoln Station in Lone Tree.
RTD plans to cut weekend service to twice an hour instead of every 15 minutes.
RTD says service is being cut because fewer people ride during those times.
