Plans For Teacher Housing In Vacant School Scrapped
DENVER (CBS4)- Plans to turn a vacant school into teacher housing for Denver Public Schools have been scrapped.
Rosedale Elementary School on South Sherman Street has been closed since 2005.
Last summer, DPS proposed converting the vacant school into affordable housing for teachers.
After feedback from the neighborhood, the district says it will not be re-purposing the building after all and it will remain empty.
