Robin Williams Mural Smiles On Capitol Hill
DENVER (CBS4)- Two artists created a mural on Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood in memory of the late actor and comedian Robin Williams.
The mural is located on the wall outside the Buffalo Exchange near the intersection of 13th and Grant in Denver.
Robin Williams is depicted in his character "Mork" that he played on the hit TV show "Mork and Mindy" which was set in Boulder.
The store offered the wall to artists Pat Milbery and Danny Fernandez where they created the memorial to Williams. Williams committed suicide last month in his San Francisco Bay area home.
"I think in his movies he brought a lot of smiles to people's faces, I think he can do that in a mural form as well," said artist Danny Fernandez.
"He brings joy, he's brought joy to so many people's lives through laughter, through his ability to embarrass himself which is really hard to do as a human being," said artist Pat Milbery.
Milbery said it is well worth it to spend seven hours of his life paying tribute to Williams.
The artists said they've received a lot of positive reaction from the mural.
