Rep. Nikkel Won't Seek Re-Election
DENVER (AP) — Republican state Rep. B.J. Nikkel of Loveland says she won't seek re-election this fall.
She made her decision after the Reapportionment Commission redrew legislative districts to put her in the same one as Republican Rep. Brian DelGrosso of Loveland.
The commission redraws the boundaries of state House and Senate districts every 10 years following the Census. The panel has five Democrats, five Republicans, and one unaffiliated member, all appointed by party leaders, the governor and a judge.
