Pueblo police confiscate dozens of guns, fentanyl pills, meth, cocaine during investigation in Southern Colorado
Police in Pueblo confiscated dozens of guns along with fentanyl pills and other various drugs during an investigation. Detectives with the Special Investigation Division contacted two males in the 100 block of West Routt who were taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
Detectives said they saw several guns, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia inside three vehicles in the backyard of the residence. A search warrant was signed by a judge and all three vehicles were searched.
Detectives recovered 25 firearms in total, including 15 handguns, five rifles, and three shotguns, along with numerous rounds for each firearm. Eight of the firearms recovered were listed as stolen.
Also recovered were varying weights of fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, a rifle-rated bulletproof vest and two conversion kits for making weapons fully automatic.
