Powderhorn Ski Area Reopening This Weekend
MESA, Colo. (AP) — Yet another Colorado resort is making its ski season last a little longer.
Powderhorn Mountain Resort says it will restart its Take Four lift for skiing and riding Saturday and Sunday.
Powderhorn had closed for the season March 31 but says it has had 3 feet of snow since April 1. It says it still has a roughly 75-inch base.
Earlier this week, Vail, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain said they would reopen Friday through Sunday after getting fresh snow this week. Aspen Highlands ends daily operations Sunday but is reopening April 27-28.
