Police Search For Car In Crash That Killed Soldier

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Colorado Springs police are searching for a car driven away from the scene of an accident that killed a Fort Carson soldier who was riding a motorcycle.

Police Monday identified the soldier killed as 19-year-old Spc. Christopher Wheeler of Boston. Wheeler died when he and a soldier on another motorcycle crashed into a car that turned left in front of them Friday. The other solider and his female passenger were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police describe the car as a metallic green Chrysler Dodge Neon with a decorative decal or graphic on the passenger's side.

Police suspect the car sustained damage on the passenger side of the car.
