Police say Rigoberto Macias-Marquez lost control of pickup on Highway 85 and crashed into a minivan carrying Martinez, his wife and their two children. Only the mother survived.
Records show Macias-Marquez had served jail time for five past DUIs, but that he was probably driving with a legitimate license the night of the fatal crash.
