Police: Man Tried To Cover Up Craigslist Affair
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A Colorado Springs man allegedly called 911 to cover up an affair that started on Craigslist.
Kevin Gaylor called police to report an intruder in his house.
Dispatch: Kevin can you tell me what happened?
Gaylor: Somebody's over here. They just parked here and they came to my door and I just need a cop here as soon as possible.
Dispatch: Okay, are they trying to get in your house?
Gaylor: Yes.
Five officers raced to the home and even detained the alleged burglar.
Police said the intruder was actually a woman Gaylor met on Craigslist. He allegedly asked the woman to come over to his home while his girlfriend was away. Police said his girlfriend came home early and Gaylor tried to cover up the affair by telling police the woman was an intruder.
