Police Make Arrest After Man Shot & Killed While Confronting Vandals
PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) - Pueblo police have arrested a man wanted for murder.
Ricky Muniz was shot and killed on Sept. 14 outside his home after confronting a group of vandals. The arrest happened just a day after the Muniz's family led a march against gang violence in his memory.
On Sunday police surrounded the home of Timothy L. Tafoya, 21, after an hour of negotiating.
"Officers searched numerous locations throughout Pueblo for Tafoya," Sgt. Greg Bowen told the Pueblo Chieftan. "Following leads and a number of tips we were able to locate him in the South Side home."
They arrested him without any problems.
