Police Investigate Missing Child In Commerce City
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Commerce City are investigating a report of a missing child with suspicious circumstances.
At about 4 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to an apartment in the 5600 block of Olive Street. That's when they were told about a missing child.
The mother of the child is cooperating with police conducting the investigation. Police do not believe that any other children or residents in the area are in any danger.
Based on initial information in the investigation, police do not believe an Amber Alert is appropriate.
Detectives are not releasing any details of the investigation. The age and gender of the child or surrounding circumstances have not been made public.
