Police Ask For Help Finding Murder Victim's Body
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Police hope the public can help locate the body of a murder victim after his alleged killer committed suicide.
John Cizek was last seen in Alamosa on June 12. He was traveling in a 2016 Minnie Winnie Winnebago. Cizek, 71, was named as the victim in a murder case in Jefferson County.
The suspect, David Little, was charged with his murder and while in custody at the Jefferson County Jail, he died of an apparent suicide.
Officers in Golden tried to arrest Little on a child sex assault warrant when they were fired upon in Edgewater on June 21. They returned fire and wounded Little.
When Little was taken into custody, he asked that officers get his dog out of his RV.
Officers discovered the RV parked in Golden. It belonged to Cizek.
Cizek is described as a white male, 6-foot-3, 220 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.
Cizek had come to Colorado from California and told friends that he was planning to pan for gold at 10,000 feet altitude.
