Police Arrest 'Wig Out Bandit' After Bank Robbery

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver arrested the man they believe is the "Wig Out Bandit." Stanley Paige was arrested after he allegedly robbed a TCF Bank.

The robbery happened at about 10:20 a.m. Thursday at the TCF Bank located at 3720 Quebec Street. The man had a gun and passed a note to the teller demanding money. He left the bank parking lot in a black pickup truck.

Police officers located the suspect vehicle in the 3800 block of Monaco Blvd. where they arrested three suspects, including Paige, 53. Two of those suspects were released.

The final suspect, Paige, is believed to have committed a total of nine robberies over the past five months. He was dubbed the "Wig Out Bandit" because he wore an afro-style wig during his first robbery.
