Police Angling To Net Fly-Fishing Rod Thieves
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Police say thieves are stealing expensive fly-fishing rods from outdoor stores in Boulder and other Colorado cities.
The Boulder Daily Camera reported Tuesday that two men and two women stole four fishing rods worth a total of $3,000 from Rocky Mountain Anglers in Boulder last week.
Authorities say pricey rods have also been stolen from stores in Longmont and in the Denver suburbs of Arvada and Littleton.
Another Boulder store reported a group matching that description browsing, but nothing was taken.
