'Plane Pull' Helps Colorado Special Olympians Train Year-Round
DENVER (CBS4) - Teams hit the tarmac Saturday at Denver International Airport for the fourth annual Plane Pull fundraiser.
The event benefits Special Olympics Colorado.
Competitors raced to be the fastest to pull a plane 12 feet. The aircraft weighs 164,000 pounds.
Money raised in entry fees helps Special Olympians train year-round in Colorado, which has more than 20,000 competitors in 22 different sports.
