Pitkin County Manager Injured In Deer Bike Crash
ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - Pitkin County Manager Jon Peacock is recovering from injuries he suffered after crashing into a deer while riding his bike to work.
Peacock says the deer suddenly appeared in front of him on Wednesday and he couldn't avoid it.
According to the Aspen Times, the deer looked dazed as well and then ran off.
Peacock was treated and released from a local hospital after suffering a concussion, cuts and bruises.
