Pilot Killed In Small Plane Crash Identified
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)- A man who was killed when his small plane crashed in Adams County has been identified. Salil Sinha, 41, crashed his plane in a field near 124th and Quebec at about 3:25 p.m. Wednesday.
Sinha, from Marshfield, Wisconsin, was piloting the Cessna when it crashed. Witnesses said the winds were strong at the time. Investigators are looking at whether winds played a role in the crash.
The fire department said it appears Sinha steered away from homes before he hit the ground. The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
