Find Great Homes, Decorating Ideas During Parade Of Homes

DENVER (CBS4)- If you're shopping for a new home you might find one or at least get some great decorating ideas at the annual Parade of Homes.

This year there are some changes that are designed to appeal to a larger group of people who would otherwise be priced out of that market.

"It was different than previous years where it was in just one location," said realtor Margaret Tucker.

There are 71 homes open for viewing from Castle Rock to Central City and in Northern Colorado like Loveland.

The prices of the homes also appeal to a wider audience starting at $200,000 to $1 million.

"We saw there was different price ranges so it was great to see the affordability for different family styles and needs," said Tucker.

"We really wanted to open it up and make it more attractive to actual Denver home buyers," said Parade of Homes chairwoman Courtney Ridens.

The tour kicked off on Thursday and continues every Thursday through Sunday through Labor Day weekend.
