Officials: Fireworks Started Apartment Fire In Greeley
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators in Greeley say children playing with fireworks started an apartment fire Monday afternoon.
The fire happened in the 1700 block of 7th Avenue. Two children set off fireworks and some bushes caught on fire. The flames spread to a porch and damaged two of the four units in the building. Both were destroyed.
Two dogs died in the fire.
Crews needed 2 hours for crews to get the flames out.
