Officers Cleared In Denver Zoo Death

DENVER (CBS4) - No criminal charges will be filed against eight Denver police officers after an altercation at the Denver Zoo.

Alonzo Ashley died last summer after the scuffle with police who used a stun gun on him.

Eight officers involved in the scuffle were being investigated for excessive force. The manager of safety's office says the officers used appropriate tactics and the least amount of force necessary in response to Ashley's actions.
