ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- President Barack Obama will meet with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and other Democratic governors at the White House to discuss job creation.

Obama also plans to meet with Hickenlooper, Maryland's Martin O'Malley, who chairs the Democratic Governors Association, and the governors of 11 other states and American Samoa on Friday afternoon.

The White House said Thursday that the group will talk about how to coordinate federal and state efforts to spur job growth. Other Democrats scheduled to attend the meeting include Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, and Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer.
