No Suspects In Shooting Near School
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Police say three people fired about 11 shots near a Colorado Springs elementary school hours before staff and students arrived.
There were no reports of injuries Thursday at Canon Elementary School, which is in the western part of the city. One round penetrated a window causing a small amount of damage.
Colorado Springs police spokeswoman Barbara Miller says the shooting happened in a parking lot across the street from the school at about 4 a.m.
No suspects have been caught.
