No Charges In Shooting With Boulder Officer's Gun
HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (AP) — Douglas County sheriff's officials say no charges will be filed in a shooting involving a Boulder police officer's gun.
Sheriff's officials say the off-duty officer and two other men were in Highlands Ranch working on the officer's vehicle on May 3. The officer's gun was in the trunk at the time.
Authorities say one man who was in the trunk while the officer and the other man were in the back seat unintentionally set off the gun while working on the vehicle, shooting and wounding the man in the back seat.
