NASA Video Shows Great View Of Solar Flare

DENVER (CBS4) - NASA has shared a spectacular view of a solar flare last month.

The flare happened on April 17 and caused some moderate radio blackouts.

Scientists keep their eyes on active regions on the sun where those areas of intense magnetism sometimes erupt.

The video was captured in extreme ultraviolet light. That's something that's typically invisible to the eye.
